Moorditj - which means "strong" or "excellent" is an interactive CD-ROM celebrating the depth and diversity of the cultural expressions of Indigenous Australian artists. Moorditj explores nearly 300 artworks from 111 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists, including Sally Morgan, Yothu Yindi, Neville Bonner, Bronwyn Bancroft, Clifford Possum Tjapaltjarri, Ellen Jose and the Bangarra Dance Theatre. The disk provides a wide-ranging overview of contemporary Indigenous art, using images, text and interviews. It has just been extensively updated in a second, more technically-advanced edition, building on the award-winning strengths of the first version.
